Last Call on Holiday Gifts

With the holidays fast approaching and shipping under way, I am sending out one last call for those that backed the project for Holiday Gifts.

We've shipped out a bunch and we're getting low on a few mats, so I want to make sure every gift is accounted for before going further with general shipping.

If you backed this Kickstarter and any of the mats you selected are meant for holiday gifts, please let me know with a comment below, a DM through Kickstarter or via Email.

I got the Todd Lockwood mats signed over the weekend and just got confirmation from Mark Winters that the signed Nekusar and Meren mats are on the way.  Once those arrive, likely Wednesday, I will be able to ship out many more rewards.

I've already packed up over 200 rewards and they will be going out in the mail soon.

Thank you for your patience and make sure to show off your mats when they arrive.

Survey + Holiday Gift Reminder & UltraPro Update

As of now, there are 26 Backers that have not yet completed their Surveys.  If this is you, please let me know ASAP.

Also, in case you didn't see the last update, due to production delays with UltraPro the second wave of Playmats won't be available until after the holidays.  This will likely impact at least 1/3 of Backers.

If you planned for some of your rewards to be Holiday Gifts, please let me know ASAP either in the comments below, via DM in Kickstarter, or via email so I can make sure they are included in the first wave.

We've already sent out a few holiday gift rewards (to test out our new shipping system, which worked great) and plan to ship out more rewards over the next few weeks as Playmats arrive back from the artists from signing.

I want to ensure that any holiday gifts get delivered on time, so please let me know immediately.

Signing Update

Mark Zug and Mark Winters are currently signing and I'm working with Todd Lockwood to sign his mats, so we're on track for all of those.  Pete, Eric, and Jason have already signed theirs.

UltraPro Update

This week I heard back from UltraPro and the second wave of Playmats will be shipping out on January 14th. 

So, after they get signed by the artists, the timeline for fulfillment of all Rewards will be mid to late January (and early February is possible depending on the artist's signing schedule).

I pulled in all the favors I had to make it as soon as possible, and this is the best we could get.  Later than I'd like, but we'll get there.

As I get more details, I will make sure to communicate them in future updates.

Surveys Sent, Issues with UltraPro, and Important Holiday Request

I'll start with the good news.

All Backer Surveys have been sent out and we're already 75% complete within the first 24 hours.  That is excellent!  Thank you for getting your information submitted so quickly.

If you have not received a Survey yet, please let me know ASAP!

Backerkit was good to work with as usual and we're chugging along nicely.

Now, for the not as good news.

With rough Playmat counts now available, I sent in the production requests to UltraPro.  Typically, production and shipping of mats would take 1-2 weeks, 3 on the outside. 

Sadly, due to unexpecetd demand on UltraPro's side, it may take up to 8 weeks to get all of the mats produced for this project.  I am still waiting on a final delivey date from UltraPro, but this could cause a significant delaysfor many of you.

All is not lost.

I've already printed 50 of each mat (and thankfully 100 Atraxa's) in preparation for the project, so I will be able to get the majority of the rewards out well ahead of the holiday season.  All other rewards should be delivered sometime in late December or January, depending on what UltraPro can do.

Since I know that many of you backed this project for Holiday gifts, I want to do everything within my power to make that possible, and I need everyone's help to do it.

If you can wait until January, know that you'll be helping out your fellow backers and I'll make it worth the wait.

Finishing Strong

Wow, it has been an insane last 24 hours.

I woke up with the project at $20,000 and, with the final seconds now past, we finished above $32,000!  Outstanding!

Welcome to all of you new backers, it's so great to have you on board.

I have already imported everything into Backerkit and have started to build out the surveys.  The aim is to get the surveys out and get final Playmat counts and the order into UltraPro ASAP.  We've got a pretty tight window, but if we work together, we can make it happen before the holidays.

I've already got the first print run of each mat ready to go, so we'll have two waves of shipping.  The first wave will be as many Rewards as we can fulfill with our existing supply, and the second will go out once the reprints arrive.  We will attempt to go in chronological Backer order and expedite the reprints as much as we can.

Expect to see the Surveys either this weekend, or early next week.

Until then, be happy in the knowledge that, going by the Rewards count, you are putting almost $8,000 into the hands of the artists with your support.

PS - I meant to send this out in an earlier update, but Jason Engle is just about to wrap up a Kickstarter for a Custom set of Playing Cards using art for a world he has created.  I love Jason's artwork and hope he continues to expand this world with future projects.
